A Rose In Winter

My little Red Bird is not here today, He was here last week with his lady feeding at the feeder. The snow seemed as if it would not stop yesterday, I thought for sure I would see them again but didn't, I decided to place a rose in the window hoping the couple could remember warmer days. Soon I expect they both will return and I will be watching

Girl Scout Cookie Time

Every year I always bought a case of thin mints, unfortunately this year I don't know a Girl Scout. I remember being a girl scout and in Huntington Wv one Saturday we went to a kitchen at a meeting room and we made NO BAKE COOKIES Oh my goodness I thought I had died and gone to heaven every since that day I have faithfully made those wonderfull cookies, my nephew Gary LOVES them. In Huntington every Saturday our leader would make sure we did something fun or learned something new. I f you know a girl scout be sure to help them out, the little girls are doing a positive good purpose and it keeps them out of trouble GO GIRL SCOUTS. If anyone know anyone in Orrville area let me know where I can pick some up sometimes K=Mart sells them

HAPPY NEW YEAR

This is the first weekend of 2009, The sun is shining, sorta cold but could be worse, sorta bored but could be worse, I know I could be doing something of GREAT IMPORTANCE but for the first weekend of the New Year I'm just going to be content to be Bored. Where do you go? What does other people do on Saturdays? Does everybody Clean on Saturdays, or Bake, or Mend. HAPPY HOLIDAYS

Happy Holidays to all. 2009 starts this week, and, I decided that this is the year for me to be much different than 2008, I've learned alot in 2008, I became more Brave, I made new Friends, I lost loved ones in 2008, I found new perspectives in 2008, I've lost friends in 2008 (Their Loss), people who judge me and set rules for their friendship really wasn't my friend to begin with, Any church or religious organization that puts conditions on their love (THEY CAN KEEP IT) Jesus loved the low life people so this year I had a low life Christmas, I invided anyone who had nothing, I invited people who would have otherwise have no food, no presents, no gatherings, Yes I had a low life Christmas with remembering the less fortunate. Guess what IT WAS THE BEST CHRISTMAS I EVER HAD, Not only did we eat well , We played cards, listen to Christmas music, and we celebrated well into the night, when I woke up Christmas morning I had a living room full of people down on their luck. My goal in 2009 is to treat the low life people of the world as tho they were the most accomplished SPECIAL person in the world.Why not try it yourself, You never know when your luck may run out, but if it does I'll be there for you HAPPY NEW YEAR, BECKY

ANYTHING GOES WHEN EVERYTHINGS GONE

I recently heard a song ( Anything Goes When Everythings Gone) by a guy that sounds like Brookes & Dunn, (Randy Houser), It is a beautiful song, I really liked it but then I started thinking about those words I thought to myself that could be dangerous, How nice it would be to live like that yet the words Anything Goes, I had to remind myself thats wrong, We just can't do anything we want, We have a responsibilty to keep in check what we do, I hope I never take that additude, call me pickie but we can't have ANYTHING GOES. All my life I have tried to follow the rules, failing at some winning at others, Today I feel we can't just do anything we want or I could very easily fall into a part of life that doesn't fit my standards, I have always taken people at face value until someone lies to me or takes advantage of me ( I 'm ,always the last to see the true picture) I trust them and would go out of my way to help anyone, yet I would rather someone do me wrong as me do someone wrong. Ok so country music leads us to believe one way, rock and roll is even worse, gospel just makes me want to hurry and go home so as I listen to music I find out alot more about life than I need to know, My prayer is I always treat people with respect, love, and trust unless they cross that line then I just Thank God to take me out of that way of thinking and pray for the person who lives like ANYTHING GOES. How about we treat people they are special

Fall Back

I know your wondering why I would post a red bird in the fall, in fact I just turned back my clocks, but I took this little red birds picture this summer and I think I am just going to think of him until next spring and skip fall and winter, Oh wait what about Christmas, Oh never mind, a red bird eating at my bird feeder outside my kitchen window is the best Christmas present I could get, in fact I decorate my Christmas tree with red birds. In Remembrance

With great sadness I have lost both my BEST FRIENDS, For health reasons both theirs and mine we had to put them to sleep August 30th. As a remembrance of our beloved babies a donation was made to Sarah's "Paws for a Cause" Fund to help defray the cost of treatment for situations where there is no owner to finance treatment for euthanasia. If you would take time to remember all the animals in our world who are homeless or sick with nobody to care for them, If you should see any animal who needs help or if you know anyone who would mistreat an animal I would ask you to report any abuse to the Humane Society
