Graduation Day

This is my first baby, Why it was just yesterday we were having a tea party in the doll room, and today she graduated. I am so very PROUD of her, she is so smart and just as sweet, she will be going to college, She is going to become a nurse (She will make the best nurse) GREAT JOB TIA

Jody's Family

This is Jody"s family, I finally got permission to post their pictures. Just hang in there I may get the other girls to let me show you their picture. I can remember Jody when she was as small as her youngest and it seems like yesterday. I wish she was still that young and we all could go back in time. Wouldn't that be wonderful to be able to go back in time with the knowledge we have now. She's sorta hard to rock to sleep at 5'6 and weighs more than 25lbs

Winter in Amish Country

It's Here=Yuk, I really dislike winter, the extra dressing, the driving, the road conditions, You can go somewhere with the roads fine only to come out to find your snowed in. When I do like it is when I'm safely home beside a fire with hot chocolate, and Oh Yes Someone to share the experience. I really feel sorry for our Service mens wife's, I think I have it bad being alone most of the time, but never a year at a time. I pray today for our troops, I cannot imagine the loneiness. Good news Spring is coming soon

The Way Things Used To Be

After going to our local grocery store I remembered how Grandma Jackson fed 12 children on her own grown vegetables, her chickens, her cow and I wanted to be like her. She always had plenty (What use to be plenty is not enough today)At Christmas the presents were an orange, some walnuts from her own walnut tree and a candy cane. The Kids thought that was wonderful. I wish I could live in those times. Grandma raised 12 kids basically alone due to Grandpa working for the railroad, she was a midwife,wallpapered for people, cleaned for people, Quilted who knows how many quilts. sewed everybody's clothes. Now it's Wal-Mart,Honey Baked Ham (Instead of our own pig) Macy's for our clothes, and interior decorators to do our wall treatments. GIRLS LET'S GET BACK TO THE WAY THINGS USED TO BE.

Sweet memories of Aunt Net

I will miss Aunt Net so much even tho I never saw her as much as I wanted. But my memories are sweet. If she had 1 slice of bread she would give it to anyone, We use to visit and she would cook a wonderful meal and before she would feed her own kids she would feed us, I remember she would get up very early and whip up gravy, biscuits,fried potatoes, pork chops or another meat, eggs, fried apples. But my favorite was her FUDGE.NO DISH WASHER EITHER, she had 7 kids and she respected her kids when they were growing up.Every one of her children prospered so well, I am so very PROUD of all of them .Her kids are closer than any family I know, They look after each other, not just the kids either, grand kids, their kids and who ever entered her home which was spotless. A Beautiful women with a Beautiful Heart. Thank-You Aunt Net for the memories. Lord willing I can move to your area and try and use you as an example to be the Best Christian I can be and treat a stranger like a friend like you did, I know Uncle Arlie hugged you so tightly when you went home and I know he said I'm proud of you for keeping the family so close. Jubilee Trip

In September I had the best time with my church Family listening to Johnnie Hunt
preach a message I defineately needed to hear, and Gold City singing, It just doesn't get any better, Mark Lowry was hilarious, Eva Mae Lefevre was an inspiration to me and the ride down and back was so much fun. Hey I had my first Latte, A Pumpkin Spice Latte to be exact and YES I licked the cup dry. Our Pastor's wife Carol bought me one and a team of horses could not have removed it from my hand. Sorry, I'm usually very giving but Carol bought me this wonderful new fancy treat and I will never forget it. One of our group got lost from us and Her very good friend and I went looking for her and We could not find our way out of the parking lot, The lost member of the group found us. Thank-You Lord for giving me the Blessing.
